Z Frog

Z Frog was sold on Aug 2016: (ad is here)

The Z Frog is a 2002 Corvette C5 Z06 (5th generation Corvette). The engine is a stock 405hp LS6 coupled to an M12 - 6 speed manual transmission.

The interior has been upgraded with Sparco race seats, a harness bar and 6pt harnesses. The shifter uses a short throw C6Z06 shifter.

The suspension uses LG GT2 coilovers that are single adjustable.

For rubber, we use Nitto NT05 for street tires and Continental slicks for race tires.

Rollcage build

For 2014, Z Frog is having a full rollcage built by Bob Fill from Bob Fill Racing in Whately MA.

First we had to prepare the car for the rollcage install, this is documented in this video:

After spending a lot of time on the forums looking for information on good and bad practices, we came up with these plans for the rollcage design: Rollcage design pdf document.

The origin

The car was bought in an insurance auction after it was rear ended. This is how the car look liked when we got it! The nice part is that this is really easy to fix and the engine only had 32k original miles!
