Frogger

Frogger was our dedicated hillclimb car that we were preparing for Pikes Peak, it was a heavily modified 2003 Subaru WRX. The project was abandoned given the high cost of the Pikes Peak logistics.

1) Engine

Bored, sleeved, balanced & blueprinted STI 2.61L stroker motor with ported EJ20 heads:

Brian Crower Pro Series 83mm Stroker kit - 4340 billet steel crank, Manley 100mm forged pistons, Brian Crower Pro Series

billet rods, AEBS sleeves, ARP head studs and case bolt set; ACL Race Series main & rod bearings; Ferrea Comp Plus

valves, Supertech valve springs, shims & retainers; Cosworth 275 duration 10.2mm lift cams; Cosworth high

volume/pressure oil pump, Cosworth oil control baffle plate; Gates timing belt, STI water pump, oil pan & pickup.

Setrab 600 Series 25 row oil cooler and Mishimoto power steering cooler

Group-N STI - 5 speed transmission mount, engine mounts, and pitch rod stopper

Perrin light weight crank pulley, Moroso air/oil separator system, GrimmSpeed oil cap

Odyssey lightweight racing battery, Flaming River kill switch

Engine machining, porting and long block assembly by Larry's Auto Machine, LLC. Installation and supporting

modifications by Subimods and EFI Logics. Dyno Tuning (Cobb ProTune) performed by EFI Logics.

2) Fuel Delivery

Aeromotive 340 LPH fuel pump and adjustable fuel pressure regulator with NOS fuel pressure gauge, AN-06 hoses, fittings

and adapters; Turbosmart fuel rail kit; Injector Dynamics 1,300cc top feed injectors

NGK Spark plugs (BKR7EIX), one setting colder than stock

3) Intake, Turbo, Exhaust and Coolant

APS DR-725 front mount intercooler assembly

Synapse Engineering DV Series synchronic bypass valve

Agency Power 3" hard turbo inlet pipe and KSTech MegaMAF 73mm cold air intake

ATP GT3076R externally gated turbo with TiAL MVR waste gate (.9 bar pressure) and PTP Black Turbo Blanket

INVIDIA equal length header/up-pipe, ceramic coated V3 downpipe with divorced waste gate, and Racing Series cat-back

exhaust; custom waste gate recirculation pipe, Kartboy heavy duty exhaust hangers

PPG straight cut 1-2 and helical 3-4 gear set with billet shift forks and PPG Torson front LSD

KAZZ 1.5 clutch-type rear LSD

Competition Clutch - Stage 4 (6-puck sprung), ACT Streetlight-XACT flywheel, braided SS clutch hydraulic line

Driveshaft Shop Level 5 (750 HP) front axles, 800 HP rear axles, and 850 WHP rated carbon fiber driveshaft
